For anyone who orders the Ringbrass Wagner Tuba during IHS (August 2-8) I will knock $100 off of the normal price of $1099. Plus shipping, insurance and California sales tax (if you are lucky enough to live in California). Shipping is about $40 plus insurance. I would much prefer to sell them direct rather than through eBay. eBay charges a 10% commission. Shipping from China is at least $250. I have that cost built into the price. No other discounts will apply. These will be shipped from my warehouse to your home in the US only. No international shipping. Click here for more details.
I will be at the International Horn Symposium Sunday and part of Monday morning as well by noon on Tuesday and all day Wednesday. There is a small chance I can be in attendance on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well depending on demands placed on my time at home (Central California). Its a 220 mile drive but my car knows the way. So, I will have additional time when people can try a Briz Horn or one of my custom made Ring Brass Wagner Tubas. I might even bring a few Wagner Tubas. If you are interested in playing one of these please notify me in advance. I have limited space in my car. Also since I am a late comer to this process, I am not an official exhibitor and so any demo will have to be off site. You may respond directly to this post or use my contact page. My special e-pricing will be available at the meeting. This is your chance to save on shipping.
I’ve received several inquiries about my e-Price. The e-Price is a discount off of the advertised price on my website. It is good for three days once I quote a price in response to an inquiry.
Here is what I suggest you do; find the best advertised price you can for the specific model you want. Show me the advertised price or an email offering a price for the exact model you want and I will beat the price if I have the identical horn in stock. The Briz horns are worth every penny of the full price and are a little hard to come by. No doubt the price will rise quickly. So if you would like to get one of these beauties at an affordable e-Price, you’d best act now. I don’t know if I can continue with this pricing program indefinitely.
Best Price for a Briz Horn
Briz French Horns are the best horns coming out of China right now. I can provide them for the lowest price through my e-pricing program.
Paxman sells Briz
Briz horns have been picked by Paxman to produce a fine line of horns. There are several Paxman Models made specifically by Briz for Paxman. John Ericson’s recent blog of April 4, 2015 details this news. See Paxman Series 4 and Paxman Academy or Series 3 horn.
Who else sells Briz Horns?
Briz Horns are marketed by several prominent US Horn dealers including an alliance of two individuals; one in Boston area and one in St. Louis. They are selling the Geyer model together. The Kruspe model Briz horn is also being marketed under a slightly different name but it appears to be Briz. The name they have chosen for the Kruspe model is the same as the three-letter name of a wild animal that has large antlers and is known for its bugling call. No doubt, the riveting and awesome sound produced by the Briz 1000N is worthy of the majesty of that animal. There is also a dealer of the Kruspe model Briz horns located in New Jersey.
I have chosen to market the top of the line Briz Kruspe model and Briz Geyer model horns under the Briz name. The name of my company is Ringbrass, but I proudly market Briz French Horns under the BRIZ name. Where does the name Briz come from? I don’t know. I’ve tried to find out. I will keep looking. Stay tuned for the next installment in my search for the origin of the Briz name.
In the meantime, check out my full website for the great Briz horns I have in stock right now. You will get the best price from me on these amazing horns.
I can meet up at the International Horn Society meeting in August (4th and 5th only) and let you try a Briz Horn. We will have to meet off site since I am not an officially registered vendor/exhibitor for the meeting. Let me know if you would like to take a look.
I have gorgeous Wagner Tubas available immediately. These are unique and have real gold brass (85% copper) bells and lead pipes. They are adorned with the RING medallion. I have sold several on eBay. eBay is great but it is a costly way to market items that have very little margin. Costly for the seller that is. eBay charges me 10% commission on the final sale price. Paypal gets their piece of the action too. By the time we throw in shipping (at least $50 for standard shipping with insurance) I’m “in the red.” I’d like to be able to get one of these magnificent horns into the hands of everyone who would like one but can’t have eBay be my business model. Please, if you are interested let me know and I can quote you an e-price on one of these and get it on its way to you. These are easy to play and really sound wonderful. I’d like to start production on the next batch but can’t until I can figure out how to at least break even.
By a stroke of luck it looks like I will be able to attend two of the days of the symposium in Los Angeles this August. August 4,5. I will definitely be bringing my Briz 2000G to play in the warmups and reading sessions. I am not an official exhibitor at the event but could arrange to allow a trial of various models off site if anyone is interested. Please contact me through the menu item “contact” which is totally confidential or you can leave a comment to this post. Either way I will arrange to bring the model you are interested in trying to the meeting. I plan on attending as many sessions as I possibly can before I drive back home to Central California so the trial sessions will need to be short. I will be offering e-pricing during the entire time of the meeting. Ask about e-pricing.
I’m once again listing a Wagner Tuba on eBay for sale. This is of course going to be a great deal for somebody. The last buyer got a fabulous deal. I sell on eBay under the name hornblowerharry. The eBay item number is 221801451761. Take a look.
The Briz Kruspe style French Horns are available in several price ranges and can be made from three different materials and configured with or without screw bell. More information is available on my FaceBook page. Search “ringbrass facebook” These horns measure up to any Kruspe style horn and are quite affordable at least for now.
I am pleased to announce the ability to offer e-pricing on Briz French Horns and my RING line of Wagner Tubas. If you would like to know the e-price on any model that I have available please let me know and I will send it to you. Your e-price will be my best price on Briz Horns. I will offer these to individuals who request them. All e-prices will be good for three business days.
